Brave Brewing Co
Brave Brewing Co. launched in late 2014. We are a small, award winning brewery located in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay. Our business is family owned and operated. Our Head Brewer Matt is incredibly passionate about the art and craft of brewing. We started out as a barebones, backyard operation but can now be found at our premises in central Hastings, with an onsite taproom, eatery and cellar door. We like to think of ourselves as your friendly neighbourhood brewery. We've grown a little, but our ethos hasn't changed. We make quality, flavourful beer and serve it to you fresh. Just as it should be.
Linden Estate
LINDEN ESTATE SPARKLING ROSE
Merlot and Pinotage fruit harvested off our estate vineyards. Fruit was delicately pressed and cool fermented to retain beautiful and delicate aromatics. A perfect summer wine as an aperitif with cheese platters or enjoyed on its own.
LITTLE PINOT GRIS
Grown in our estate Pinot Gris block near the citrus orchard and picked at the very
beginning of harvest. Producing a light, crisp Pinot Grigio style that holds a small
amount of residual sugar. Providing a well balanced fresh wine with good acidity and tropical aromas. Vegan friendly - This wine has been refined using pea and potato proteins rather than traditional animal products. Little interference with the natural growing processes. Little handling of the delicate fruit.
LITTLE ROSÉ
Made with Syrah and Pinotage this a beautifully balanced full Rose, similar to a
European style with bold freshness and aromatics. Undergoing a cool, slow and
long fermentation to retain freshness and aromatics. Kept for 3 months on lees in
winery post fermentation for pallet weight and texture. Vegan friendly - This wine has been refined using pea and potato proteins rather than traditional animal products. Little interference with the natural growing processes. Little handling of the delicate fruit.
LITTLE SYRAH
Blended from multiple parcels of our estate vineyards both hillside and river flats.
All vineyards and clones were picked and fermented separately Small portion of whole bunch fermentation to aide fruit aromatics and structure All barrel aged in French oak 15% new oak. 11 months in barrels. Vegan friendly - This wine has been refined using pea and potato proteins rather than traditional animal products. Little interference with the natural growing processes. Little handling of the delicate fruit.
