The sun shone down on sunny Nelson, (which has once again been crowned the sunniest region in New Zealand for 2018) for the 3rd annual NZ Cider Festival on Saturday 3rd November at Founders Heritage Park. With our initial early bird sales being a sell-out, our standard pre-sales flew out the door and on the day gate sales stormed. Overall 2018 saw the attendance up by 20% on 2017 event. Founders Park was filled with over 2500 cider lovers and with even more Cider Makers than ever before the atmosphere was electric!

2018 also saw the introduction of the NEW Fringe Events. In the led up to The NZ Cider Festival, a number of Cider related activities including Cider cocktail making, sensory tasting sessions and informative tours and talks were put on for the growing number of Cider enthusiasts in NZ.
